Ashutosh Gowaiker & Sajid Khan Fight at Screen Awards
An ugly fight broke out between Ashutosh Gowariker and Sajid Khan during Star Screen Awards 2008.
What happened is Sajid Khan as usual his funny self commented on Ashutosh current hero Hurman Baweja and when he came on the stage to pick his trophy he clearly showed his displeasure to Sajid.
When Sajid said him that the script was made by the organizers, Ashutosh asked Sajid to shut up, to which Sajid immediately retorted back, ‘kisika baap bhi mujhe shut up nahi bol sakta!’
Sajid’s sister Farah Khan was completely taken aback by the episode and voiced her displeasure too, “I love films more than anybody else and I do truly believe that we are family and friends and family can joke with each other. We shouldn’t take ourselves so seriously,” she said.

Show was good. Sajid was funny as usual, Ashutoast was since the begining of the show acting ugly and rude . he should be sent to north korea. what an ugly sense of humour he has . ppl like him made mumbai the city of the rudest ppl in the world.
Hrithik roshan never desrved an award ever, hes a dancer n maybe a model but not a main lead hero. he should hv been honesrt and dedicated his award too.
Akshay Kumar proved his talents not only as an actor but a viewer and a judge, a king.
Even Yash Raj , who i believe is the biggest movie maker of India didnt act as an Ass o toast when sharukh ridiculed about him. ashotos sucks. big time.

I dont beleive this. I agree awards should not be scripted to insult actors and directors, but why doesn’t anyone understand that what Sajid, Farah, or Shreyas did was merely part of their job. Had the script been different, they would have followed it. Shahrukh, Saif, and Karan Johar have done it previously, so why is only Sajid being criticized. Insulting jokes are trying to become a fab in India which should be completely avoided, but one cannot blame the comparers/hosts of the show who want to entertain the crowd as part of their job or career! I personally love Sajid, and Farah. They are hard working, determined and have been working in the industry for many years. All they try to bring to the industry is some humour and entertainment.
I guess they were at the right place at the wrong time. Or probably Ashutosh had a fight with his wife before attending the show. But all and all it was a funny episode. We loved it.

BIG High5 to Ashutosh. He did what needed to be done. Sajid has dry sense of humur, his act and terrible this time. I didn’t know Farah is his sister, but as for me farah souldn’t host any show, she is better behind the screen, she may be good producer but on the TV show , public need someone polished and has decency to talk to any human whether it is side dancer or actor. I don’t know what is making Farah famous? Is it Karan Johar and Sarukh Khan?I have no personal grudes towards her but I did not like the way she was talking to actor and actresses, she acted like bazaroo women. Sajid was alright except some indecent jokes but as far as I know they did waste lots of airtime talking BS. I would like to suggest star that next time they can mail the awards to marathi films, why even bother if they are going to cut them off. Now I know why Aamir doesn’t attend the show.
Cheap Publicity. Cheap people create cheap stuff. Like their saas Bahu shows, they and their news is all cheap. No values at all. Bad sensibility. Only One video which Star wants you to see. Please teach them a lesson and dont watch Star TV for some time say a long time.
They dont represent the whole of India or even the North. They are simply Bhayyas and idiots who cant think. They think We Indias are a bunch of losers like them. Tell them people with your protest, that we are a people of Intellectuals.
