So the queen is back on Zee TV. After Kasamh Se, Ekta Kapoor’s Balaji Telefilms Lmtd. is all set to do a remake of a very popular Tamil serial, Thirumathi Selvam, of which Ekta Kapoor has acquired copyrights.Its named Pavitra Rishtha

Pavitra Rishtha will have the basic flavor of Mumbai and the story will focus on a middle to lower middle class Mahrashtrian family.

Pavitra Rishtha is the tale of Archana who does not get a suitable offer just because she is not educated. The manner in which she settles down in life with her partner is interesting to watch.

And the actress who has bagged the meaty role of the female protagonist is Ankita Lokhande, who was first seen in Zee Cinestars Ki Khoj. The actress was also finalized to play the main lead in NDTV Imagine’s school-based love story Baali Umar Ko Salaam, before the project was scrapped.

The show will also have Swati Anand who was earlier seen in Kasamh Se. She will essay the role of Archana’s Bhabhi and her character will be grey.
